Wizz Air Cancels 21 Romania Flights Due to Engine Issues
Wizz Air has cancelled 21 of its flights in Romania, as a result of engine problems, Romanian website Boardingpass learned.

The low-cost airline confirmed that the suspension is due to the inspection of the engines made by the American manufacturer Pratt & Whitney in the coming months.

The measure affects airports in Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Targu Mures, Craiova and Iasi.

Some flights will be stopped at the end of March or April, and a number of seasonal flights will not be restarted this summer.

Last year, Wizz Air was the leading airline in Romania, where it operates six bases, with a market share of 57%.
