Debrecen Airport Reopens Today
Debrecen International Airport resumes operations on Thursday, following a week-long emergency maintenance effort on the runway, the airport operator announced.

Last Thursday, immediate repairs began to address heat damage to the runway, involving the replacement of concrete slabs.

After thorough condition assessments and technical inspections to ensure minimal aviation safety risks, the airport is ready to reopen.

During the closure, some of its flights were redirected to Budapest.
