MÁV Completes HUF 3 Billion Renewal at Rákosrendező Railway Station in Budapest
MÁV has completed the Ft 3 billion renewal of the tracks at the Rákosrendező station in Budapest, allowing train services on the Esztergom, Szob and Veresegyház lines to return to their regular schedules, the state railway company announced.

The renewal aimed to improve reliability and reduce disruptions across the heavily used suburban corridors.

Early morning and night transport is expanded on these lines, and “party services” adjusted to the night schedule of the metro will run on weekend nights.

As part of the works, over 1.5km of track was reconstructed, nearly a dozen switches were replaced, and sections of the overhead electrical system were renewed.
