Key International Highlights from Our Program (June 20):

4:00–5:00 PM | Let’s Dance! – Greek Dance Workshop: Led by Athina Papadimitriu and Magyar Elektra. No prior experience or partner is needed—everyone is welcome to join the circle!

4:30–5:30 PM | Ethnosound – Roma Music: Interactive Concert & Kanna Workshop: A deep dive into a true Hungarian treasure. Visitors can discover the vibrant history of Roma music and try traditional rhythm instruments.

6:00–7:00 PM | Várhegyutca Concert: A young, 10-member band bringing infectious energy and world-music-infused beats that will get everyone moving.

7:30–8:45 PM | Dance Hall with Angyalföldi Vadrózsa: Learn the basic steps of traditional regional dances with live musical accompaniment. Progressive teaching makes it easy for first-timers!

8:00–9:00 PM | Exclusive English Guided Tour of the Collection Exhibition (Meeting point: Central Information Desk, Level -2): A guided journey through our stunning 3,000-square-meter exhibition, showcasing 3,600 artifacts and global cultural connections.

8:00–9:30 PM | "We Had a Memory!" – Film Screening with English Subtitles: A poetic documentary recalling the disappearing world of shepherding life in the Hungarian pasturelands.

8:00–9:30 PM | Besh o droM Concert: The legendary Hungarian band that has toured the world for over 25 years, blending high-energy Balkan beats with contemporary sounds.

9:00–10:30 PM | Folk on 45 Acoustic Concert: A unique duo blending global hits with Hungarian folk songs using a live looper pedal to create a mesmerizing, orchestral contemporary sound.

Available all day at the Damjanich Street Lobby, visitors can marvel at a breathtaking couture dress co-created by renowned Hungarian fashion designer Nóra Sármán and LEGO® Master Builder Balázs Dóczy.

Built from over 12,000 LEGO® elements and nearly 800 LEGO® flowers, this unique creation is simultaneously a fashion piece, an art installation, and a playful masterpiece, perfectly demonstrating how folk art inspiration, high fashion, and pop culture meet within the museum.
