1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?

A year and a half ago, I came for six month Internship and got hooked.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
I am a Native Texan, so I consider living anywhere outside Texas an Ex-pat adventure. So yes, Colorado and Pennsylvania.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The people are absolutely awesome, once you get to know them.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
The K?bánya Kispest Metro Station for a little culture shock - then off to the wonder that is the Buda hills. After Buda, head down Király Utca and find a watering hole.

5. What is your favorite Hungarian food?
Brassói from a little restraurant on F? Utca

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Comte cheese from the chemege near my house.

7.What is your favorite Hungarian word?
Szabadid?? it sounds Creole, like something from Louisiana.

8. What do you miss most from home?
The plethora of microbreweries. I think if I have to have another Dréher I might lose it.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Physics is uber interesting, however it would take a lot of effort to switch course this far into my career.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Sales, been there and done that. Also collections sounds horrible.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Belgrade, Serbia

12. Where do you hope to spend your next holiday?
The Republic of Texas and the USA

13. What was your favorite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Led Zeppelin, and they still place in the top 5.

14. What can't you resist?
Correcting the British English spelling of "favourite" to the American English "favorite" in this survey.

15. Red wine or white?
Vörösbor

16. Book or movie?
Book ? Specifically "Catch 22", Read it if you haven't.

17. Morning person or night person?
Night owl

18. Dog person or cat person?
Dogs, hand down.

19. Buda or Pest side?
Pest?

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
