The community of The British International School Budapest came together to celebrate the graduation of its Class of 2017 last Saturday at the Intercontinental Budapest. The event was attended by over 250 students, parents, teachers and guests, including Dr Michael Ignatieff PC CM, President and Rector of CEU, and Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador Iain Lindsay OBE (pictured below).

The selected pieces are from the private collection of Marinko Sudac, which, in addition to items of art and groups of works, also comprises complete documentations and archives of great historical significance.

Budapest will host the first Szerpentin Dance Film Festival from May 17 to 19, organisers told MTI. The festival, to be held in Kino Cafe cinema, will feature dance films, documentaries, video arts and music videos from Hungary and abroad. The programme will include NY Export: Opus Jazz, a 2010 film by the New York City Ballet.
