Norm Clark spent some 5 years in total in Budapest, whilst working as the Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing arm of Lintas. He first arrived like several of the early expats soon after the arrival of the newly democratic state, in 1992. Paddy & The Rats was formed by the singer-songwriter Paddy, Vince (bass) and Joey (electric guitar) in 2008. Then Seamus (drums) joined them and two authentic musicians, Sonny (accordion) and Sam (fiddle, tin whistle, banjo and bagpipe). In spring 2012 Sonny has left the band and Bernie took his place. It is only about the path that the photographs go through from the judging of the annual contest to the vernissage of the exhibition.

It has been exactly 130 years since the Budapest Opera opened its gates on 27 September, 1884. The Hungarian State Opera commemorates the anniversary of the opening with crowds in period costumes, an extraordinary gala concert, the premier of a film, and the publication of a historical book.
