For a country which boasts centuries of wine tradition, Hungary does not have so much of a wine-bar culture. But I have identified five places in Budapest, which are very much fun to go and have a glass of Hungarian wine, writes Dr. Christian G.E. Schiller. 5. Zakopane - This is the Polish destination I mentioned in my last post, which is close enough to the Tátras to combine the two into one trip, if you so desire. This place has it. Charm, charm, charm. I admit I never thought Poland had much of that, although everyone raves about Krakow (I haven’t made it there yet).
