The now each year very expected European Art of Garden exhibition and sale organized by the Joseph Karolyi Fondation in the Károlyi stately home park in Fehérvárcsurgó will take place between 31 May and 2 June, with Romania, Findland and France as guest of honour countries whose representative lecturers will speak on the opening day in presence of their respective Ambassadors.

Many fresh programs and several new animals await visitors for the new season at Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden, which switched to its spring opening hours in March. Among the new species, Cuban crocodiles and several sharks have been added.

Patagonian maras, endemic in South America, brought a smile to our faces this year with their ten pups. The five pups most recently born have just come out from their refuge to the enclosure, say the team at the capital's zoo.
