Hungarian national oil and gas company MOL will donate HUF 2 billion (USD 7 million) of pre-tax profits to the Hungarian Soccer Association (MLSZ) in 2016, announced MOL CEO Zsolt Hernádi (left) and MLSZ president Sándor Csányi (right) at a joint press conference on Wednesday afternoon. The money is to be used to develop new players and infrastructure.

Head of the transport department at the Budapest Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Zoltán Dudás, called Uber “dangerous” because it highlights how income can be made tax-free. He added that once Uber destroys Hungarian businesses services would become much dearer. Taxi company Főtaxi said it would sign the joint statement issued by taxi professional associations and unions.

Tesco has been organising these annual collections in partnership with food banks and their selfless volunteers have been helping them to feed people for several years.
