In her new position, she is going to focus on supporting further growth of ABB Hungary, and implementing transformation based on ABB Group’s Next Level Strategy. Taira-Julia Lammi succeeds Tanja Vainio who was nominated to Country Managing Director of ABB in the Czech Republic.

South Korea’s Samsung SDI will invest 100 billion forints (EUR 322m) in a plant in Göd, north of Budapest, to produce batteries for electric vehicles for European markets, Hungary’s minister for foreign affairs and trade announced. After serious competition from other countries in the region, the investment in Hungary will create 600 jobs, Péter Szijjártó said in Budapest.

The websites sell the Hungarian edition of a Swedish author’s book that overtly denies genocides committed by the Nazi regime, Tibor Ibolya said.
