Hungary has already discussed the most recent concerns raised by US Ambassador Colleen Bell with the European Union, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said. Szijjártó said in a statement that the Hungarian government “has heard many times” the concerns raised by the US ambassador at a lecture she gave at the Budapest Corvinus University on Wednesday, adding that these concerns “are nothing new”.

President István Gaskó of the LIGA union alliance has stayed in the Kempinski and Hilton hotels in Budapest at EU expense, even though he is a resident of the city, Napi Gazdaság reports. On September 27, 2012 he hired room 601 at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus and spent Ft 140,000 for the night. On February 2, 2014 he spent more than Ft 150,000 for a room at the Budapest Hilton.
