However, this did not happen as state investors intentionally delayed the star while Malév was consuming an enormous amount of state funds recently published inside documents reveal about the 2012 Malév-case.

Budapest’s Museum of Fine Arts has closed yesterday for a three-year reconstruction; upon reopening to visitors in 2018, the institution will be reinvented as part of the new Museum Quarter in the capital’s largest city park Városliget.

Budapest’s famous Museum of Fine Arts on Heroes’ Square is to close its doors to visitors for a three-year period of reconstruction. Work on the iconic neo-Renaissance and neo-Classicist building, designed by architects Albert Schickedanz and Ferenc Fülöp Herzog and built between 1900 and 1906, will begin as early as next February.
