Publimont Rejects Gay Ad Campaign In Hungary

Publimont, a billboard and vehicle advertisement company controlled by Lajos Simicska and Zsolt Nyerges, has rejected a campaign commissioned by gay dating website Melegrandi, news website Origo reports. The ad campaign would be the first in Hungary directly targeting the gay community, Melegrandi head Péter Weiler told Origo.

As the bright sun shone down, the new and elegant building of the Embassy of Belarus was officially opened in Budapest on 24th April. It was greeted by the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alena Kupchyna and the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, as well as, ambassadors of the OSCE states and representatives from the Hungarian media.

The World Music Expo (Womex) to be hosted by Budapest this autumn has attracted a record number of over 1,000 applications by the April 10 deadline, organiser and Womex jury member Balázs Weyer said. The city of Eger in the north will be linked to the M3 motorway by a four-lane highway by 2018 under an agreement signed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Eger Mayor László Habis. The agreement also includes a 6.3 billion forint (EUR 21.1m) project to upgrade Eger’s swimming complex and convert it into a swimming and water-polo centre, Orbán told a live televised press conference.
