Update: We’re delighted to report there’s been a fantastic response to our invitation to mix and mingle with fellow Xpats this Saturday the 5th of November, on ‘Bonfire Night’. We’re practically at a comfortable capacity already, but if you haven’t registered yet there are one or two places left to join-in this annual social networking extravaganza at the InterConti.

"The Google Lunar X Prize is offering the largest international incentive prize of all time: A total of $30 million in prizes are available to the first privately funded teams to safely land a robot on the surface of the Moon and have that robot travel 500 meters over the lunar surface and send images and data back to the Earth.

MikulásGyár is open between 9 and 19 December (10am to 10pm) in 2010 for the sixth time at Felvonulási Tér to collect donations in order to offer a Merrier Xmas for 200.000 children. Helping needy families and children is the plan in 2010 as well at this 10-day-long humanitarian event.

"Our intention is to create tradition with launching the “Forest of Angels” charity and solidarity event for the first time this year. The event is patronized by Mrs. Katalin Makray, wife of Dr. Pál Schmitt, President of the Republic of Hungary and supported by the State Secretary of Culture and the Department of Administration and Justice.
