In 2016 between April 8-10 the Oldtimer Show Kft. will organize the XI. Oldtimer Show, at the Railway Museum Park in Budapest on a 10 acres exhibition area. The exhibition expanded during the past 3 years with numerous additional programs, and services free of charge: we will introduce this year the Festival bus service.

Victor Vasarely (1906–1997) was a Hungarian-born French artist, often referred to as the father of op art movement (a style of visual art that uses optical illusion). His work is now open to the public at the French Institute in Budapest until June 18.

Jonas Matyassy is specialized in advertising, portrait and fashion photography. He has spent many years as an assistant photographer and studio manager in Budapest and London. He is confident in technical skills concerning photography. At Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design he broadened his visualizational knowledge.

The greatest show of Hungarian photojournalism returns to the Capa Center in March. The 34th Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition is open to the public since 25 March. 'Nothing special' is the title given to one of the series awarded in this year’s Hungarian Press Photo Contest and Exhibition. These subtle, sensitive portraits filled with empathy depict marginalized people in society.

'Táncháztalálkozó' is a multi-faceted and colourful folklore festival, which includes performances by groups presenting their own local traditions, traditional folk artists and musicians, dance groups, professional and amateur folk dancers, dance-house bands and dance teachings from all over the Carpathian Basin.

This exhibition pays homage to Tibor Csernus, one of the most important Hungarian painters of the twentieth century, who lived and worked in Paris from the mid-1960s until his death 2007. The memorial Studio is organised by the Gábor Kovács Art Foundation (KOGART) in cooperation with Várgondnokság Kft.

The capitals of the Danube – Vienna, Budapest – Parallel cityscapes 1850-1920. This is the title of the exhibition which was opened in Castle Bazaar, where the audience can see certain stages of urban development of the two capitals in up to 300 turn-of-the-century photos.
