The Paloznak Jazz Picnic festival to be held near Lake Balaton on July 29-31 will feature international stars such as Italian singer Mario Biondi, German downtempo group De Phazz and Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer along with renowned Hungarian performers including Mörk and Manaky trio, the festival’s director said.

The first cultural event of the reopening will be the Night of Museums, scheduled to take place on June 26th, the weekend that is the closest to the summer solstice. This year museums will be open to the public once again, with COVID safety measures in mind.

Following my retirement from the UK Fire Service, we relocated with our young family to Hungary to be closer to my wife's family and enjoy a quieter life in her hometown of Csongrád. It’s a great town blessed with the confluence of two great rivers, the Körös and Tisza, which of course eventually reach the Danube.
