Govt Soon To Decide On Plans For Budapest Train Stations

The government will decide on future plans for Budapest’s Nyugati (Western), Déli (Southern) and Kelenföld railway stations next week, government office chief János Lázár said, adding that the aim was to make transport safer and to expand green areas in the capital.
Budapest Taxi Drivers End 6th Anti-Uber Demo

Budapest taxi drivers demonstrated against ride-hailing service Uber. The drivers blocked traffic in two lanes out of six on Elisabeth Bridge with a demand that Uber be banned and regulations enforced. This is the sixth time Budapest taxi drivers have mounted a demonstration against Uber since January.

Sziget Festival is once again expecting a record turnout as already 90% of the passes are sold. Szitizens come already from 95 countries, so Sziget will once again become a giant multi-cultural gathering with 7 days of great music, arts and many more. In an ordinary goulash soup you will find normal beef chopped in bite-sized pieces, potatoes, onions and paprika. However, the restaurant at the corner of Huszár and Munkás streets doesn’t offer a lot of ordinary things. The traditional, usually rather boring dishes are presented here in a renewed way, with a modern international flair.
