Households’ incomes and average living standards have increased in Hungary, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said. Average real incomes in 2015 were 4.7% higher than a year before, while the income levels of the poorest were up by 5-6%, KSH said in its report for last year.

We knew the resort was isolated from hustle and bustle and that suited us just fine. Rooms were great, very spacious, all the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Pool and facilities for kids were great. Breakfast was excellent," James Matmurray.

WHO data suggests that Guyana in South America is the country where suicides are most common, with 42 out of 100 000 inhabitants dying as a consequence of intentional self-harm each year.

Four Hungarian regions are among the European Union’s twenty poorest, according to a Eurostat report. Magyar Nemzet and Világgazdaság cited the survey on Monday, noting that northern Hungary, the northern and southern parts of the Great Plains and the south-west region lagged behind severely, in spite of Hungary’s drawing down the biggest amount of EU funds from among the former East Bloc.
