Passenger transport is set to restart on the refurbished rail track between Esztergom and Budapest on Thursday after a Ft 44.5 billion, three-year project reached completion 18 months behind schedule. Foreign ministry state secretary László Szabó said the government aims to improve infrastructure between Hungary and neighbouring countries. Szabó said there are a total of 100 border crossings in Hungary, sixteen of which have been established since 2010.
