Nokia has axed a further 200 jobs at its plant in Komarom in the third and final wave of job cuts that total 2,300, factory council head Zoltan Laszlo confirmed. Employees were given generous compensation, three months extra pay in addition to the legal minimum and job-seeking benefits as well, he added.

Electronic payment orders between banks will be executed within four hours, rather than the current two or three days, from Monday.
