"On July 6, Ambassador Kounalakis visited the Herend Porcelain Factory, where she was received by CEO Dr. Attila Simon. Ambassador Kounalakis displayed great interest in economic conditions in Hungary as well as in the situation of the factory. She was pleased to hear that for decades, the largest market of the profitably operating factory has been the United States.

Olga Benedek, Porcelain Designer Artist, Head Of Ceramics Courses In Budapest & Nagykovácsi
Olga studied ceramics at the Secondary School of Fine and Applied Arts. After that she graduated from the porcelain department of the Hungarian University of Applied Arts (Moholy-Nagy University of Arts - MOME).
