'Zúzmara Winter Half Marathon', Hungexpo Budapest, 14 January

Runners are going to gather for the third time at the Hungexpo premises to run a half marathon in the middle of winter. Race starts at 10am, while from 1:45pm participants can challenge themselves over a 10 km or a 5 km distance during the Running Festival, happening at the same place in the afternoon hours.

Some 10,000 people have already arrived at the Sziget Festival grounds, on an island in the north of Budapest, ahead of the week-long international event to start on Wednesday, the head of the organising company said.

BKK Budapest Transport Centre, 'the mobility manager of the Hungarian capital', provides higher frequency services on suburban railway line H5, on tram line 6 between 9-16 August. It also operates vehicles with bigger passenger capacity on night lines 901 and 918, and operates special dedicated boat services, all to provide better access for Sziget visitors to the festival venue.
