Hungary’s Competition Office (GVH) on Wednesday said it fined Magyar Telekom 90 million forints for misleading advertising. In television advertisements of its Next Business XL and M packages run over six weeks in autumn 2013, the company failed to inform the targeted SMEs that the monthly fees apply only for four or more subscriptions and if other conditions were met.

K&H Bank has signed contracts with clients for 69 billion forints in cheap credit from the National Bank of Hungary’s Funding for Growth Scheme by the end of August, the company’s chief executive said. Hendrik Scheerlinck said the bank is in the process of lending another 60 billion forints to SMEs from the credit.
