Infostrada Sports, the leading full service sports and media company, has issued a projection which forecasts Hungary to win 17 medals at next year’s Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. According to their estimate, the medal table will be lead convincingly by the United States and Hungary will be tenth on the list.

Car maker Audi announced on Saturday that it has cancelled its sponsorship contract with football club Gyõri ETO, due to the scandal of the Quaestor financial group. Quaestor owns the sports club, as well as its stadium, and the attached shopping mall and hotel.

Budapest is to host the 2017 FINA World Championships, which will be the biggest international event so far in the history of Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced at a press conference on Wednesday. He was speaking after signing an agreement on this with the Executive Director of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Cornel Marculescu.
