Based on a combined analysis of precipitation and average temperature, last year was the most unusual in the past 154 years, and compared to the period 1871-1900, February, July, winter and summer of 2024 were the most extreme, while August and spring were the second most unusual, HungaroMet wrote in a study published on its website.
