Now on until 23 July 2017. The thematic definition of this exhibition is the result of a mishearing (UGLY ARTWORKS), also recorded in a report. The curator’s conception was written down by Károly Elekes, our founding member, therefore he can be blamed for any aesthetic damage caused by our exhibition, as the mastermind behind the idea. The MAMŰ dissociates itself from the final results in time.

The exhibition of IMAGE SCHEMA - The History of Street Photography in Budapest from the Beginning to Present is based on a selection of old photos from a museum’s archives – the Photo Collection of Kiscell Museum – as well as works by contemporary photo artists.

This Saturday afternoon the heart of the Antique Quarter of Pest will turn into a 'market promenade', for the seventeenth time in 2017. World famous for antiques, on the 27th May Falk Miksa street will offer visitors 'spectacular exhibitions, stage performances and culinary delicacies'.

Art Deco In The Puszta, Academy Of Arts

The art deco architect István Sajó was born in Debrecen, in Eastern Hungary. Despite a successful career in America, he returned home to the great Hungarian plain, where he built modern, exciting and spacious art deco buildings among the traditional, mostly single-storey, neo-classical houses lining the city’s streets. Sajó’s heart and soul belonged to Debrecen.

We could hold a celebration, as they usually do on such major anniversaries, we could enumerate numbers, records, and results.
