The number of young Hungarian adults living with their parents is on the increase, daily Magyar Nemzet said, citing a recent survey by Tárki. The proportion of Hungarians aged between 18 and 34 still living with their parents increased from 56% in 2008 to 66% by 2012.

The data collected at the start of 2013 shows that 80% of the migrants were under 40 years old. Around 30% of them were university graduates, which is well above the Hungarian average of 18%.
