According to pestbuda.hu, the seventh bridge of Budapest was inaugurated 80 years ago, on the 12th of September, 1937. The bridge connecting South Buda and South Pest was originally called Horthy Miklós Bridge, but it was renamed to Petőfi Bridge after WWII. The construction of the bridge was necessary due to the dynamic development of Budapest.

The EP resolution broaches the issue of the Central European University, he noted, adding that the government’s position is that everyone should be equal under the law and should abide by it.
