Previously, he was Professor of Technology Management and Chair of the Department of Technology Management, at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU (now NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering).

The Hungarian Scientists Club was formally opened at the Hungarian embassy in London on Friday. Undersecretary Péter Prõhle and ambassador Péter Szabadhegy delivered opening speeches. Some 70 university professors and scientific co-workers founded the club with the chief aim of establishing contacts and presenting the results of Hungarian science in Great Britain.

As her name suggests, Caitlin hails from a Welsh family and studied European Studies at Cardiff University. She joined the FCO in 1990 after a stint working at an Argentinian Bank where she was able to use her Spanish. She also speaks French and now a little Hungarian.

The Demographic Research Institute of the Central Statistical Office has issued the three-yearly Demographic Portrait of Hungary 2015.
