Completion of the Paks II project, the expansion of Hungaryʼs Paks Nuclear Power Plant, may be postponed until 2032, instead of the official 2026-27 deadline, according to a report by Hungarian daily newspaper Népszava.

The government has declared its support for a bid for Budapest to host the inaugural edition of the World Urban Games next year and earmarked nearly 3 billion forints (EUR 9.2m) for the event, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows.
