Economy Minister Mihály Varga has rejected an appeal by an alliance of businesses around Lake Balaton to relax rules that require big retailers to remain closed on Sundays. The alliance had asked the minister to ease the rules during the summer tourist season. The paper said the ministry would weigh possible changes to the rules in the autumn.
