Small boys learn this rhyme when they are still in the kindergarten, and they sing it to girls on Easter Monday, and then promptly 'sprinkle' them - without waiting for an answer to the poem:
"Through the greenwood going
I saw a blue violet growing
I saw it start to wither
Can I water this flower?"

The Oldtimer Show in Budapest will be held for the 17th time this year. The site will once again be the Hungarian Railway History Park, with an area enlarged for 10 acres.

A quick stroll around the city centre is enough to see that Budapest is home to many an ambitious mural. The inner-city is heaving with bold designs splashed onto the sides of its larger buildings, bringing colour to otherwise blank facades or ornamenting walls recently-revealed by demolition.

One of the surest signs of the start of the year is that the cellars, press houses and guest waiting areas will open during at the Winter Etyeki Piknik to entice their guests with fiery and steaming drinks and pork dishes.
