I came along to TedxDanubia to get a glimpse of the world, but I got the universe. I learnt about Higgs Boson, wilful blindness, sewerage of the future, protons, learning to play the piano online, ageing, beat box (Star Trek is closer than we would think!) and this was delivered by some inspirational speakers.
100 days left until the gates of VOLT Festival open and now the organizers have announced new international all-stars and, many Hungarian bands to the already prestigious line-up. Acts like Knife Party, Bonobo, Borgore, Turboweekend and Skream will also hit the stage in Sopron.
The organizers of Balaton Sound have added 21 more names to the already prestigious line-up. Besides bringing the biggest DJs to the Main Stage, there will be many unique and revolutionary productions to entertain as well. All eyes are now on the Best Medium-sized Festival of Europe and it will most probably live up to the expectations.
Ladies and Gentleman! A marvelous and brand new venue is enriching the colorful programs of Sziget Festival this year. The Cirque du Sziget will host breath-taking “new-circus” productions and also some impressive shows of young Hungarian acrobats, put together exclusively for the event. Because Sziget is so much more than just a music festival!

In 2013 over 50 venues are involved, including the open-air Budapest Easter Fair on Vorosmarty Square, concerts at the Hungarian Palace of Arts, the Budapest Opera House, the new Budapest Music Center, the Urania National Film Theater, several churches, and many more locations in Budapest. Held in this year between March 22 – April 7, it will feature international and Hungarian artists, musicians, singers, choirs, designers, dancers… If you fancy the sound of it then be advised to book your tickets early, as the most popular performances get booked up well in advance.
