Secret Service Files from Communist-Era in Hungary to be Made Public
Some secret service files from the Communist regime, including non-classified descriptive data from the so-called "six-packs" and magnetic tapes, will be made public on October 22, the eve of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 revolution, government spokesperson Vanda Szondi told a press conference on Thursday.

ECtHR Rules Against Hungary in Police Brutality Case
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has ruled against Hungary and awarded 5,500 euros in damages to a teen who was assaulted by police in 2019, after prosecutors failed to properly investigate the case, the Hungarian Helsinki Committee said on Thursday.

For starters, tell us about what you've been doing since our previous interview with you:
On a personal level, I have been renovating a small house in Mád, near Tokaj. It is a beautiful wine village with a friendly and welcoming community. My family and I have been made to feel incredibly welcome there, and it provides a wonderful retreat from city life. We also have a small rescue dog who completes our family.
