Historic Toll Reductions on Highways Announced for 2026

For the first time since tolls were introduced on Hungarian expressways, the prices for motorway vignettes are being reduced. In 2026, motorists in five counties can look forward to significant discounts. The unprecedented price reduction is direct compensation for current traffic restrictions and construction work on the M1 and M30 highways, reported Origo.

 

Among others, the M30 highway is affected, with the section between Miskolc-North and Szikszó (northeastern Hungary) completely closed since February 2024, due to a road subsidence. To compensate for the ongoing repair work, the annual vignette for Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County will be offered in 2026, with a massive toll discount of 65 percent.

 

Drivers can purchase this annual vignette for 2,500 forints (6.55 euros). The authorization is valid not only for the M30, but also for the M3 motorway and all other toll roads within the county.

The Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county vignette entitles the holder to use the following sections:

 

M3 motorway: Between Füzesabony and Polgár

M30 motorway: Entire section between the M3 and the Tornyosnémeti border.

The extensive renovation and widening work on the M1 motorway between Budapest and Győr is also leading to a price reduction.

 

Residents of the four counties affected – Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, and Győr-Moson-Sopron – can purchase the M1 regional vignette for around half price, namely 15,000 forints (39.30 euros).

 

 

 

This discount will apply for the entire duration of the construction work and is expected to leave seven billion forints (18 million euros) in drivers’ pockets, a significant relief given the inconvenience caused by Hungary’s largest highway renovation project.

 

The M1 regional vignette offers extensive coverage of a total of 808 kilometers of expressway. It entitles the holder to use all toll roads in the four counties mentioned above.

 

In the e-vignette system, the validity of the county vignette is guaranteed beyond the administrative border of the county to the first exit of the neighboring county.

Detailed and up-to-date information on toll roads and discounts is available on the website of the National Toll Service Provider (Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató) under the menu item “Maps” (Térképek).

The idea of Ars Sacra Festival was born after the ’City Mission’ was organized in Paris, Vienna, Lisbon, Brussels and in 2007 in Budapest as well. The purpose of the festival is to bring to light the Jewish-Christian roots of the European culture in all types of sacred arts and also to promote the uplifting and the spiritual unity of the souls. This challenging course is designed for adults who want to develop core performance and acting skills and take part in plays on stage.

Hungary Records 80 New Coronavirus Infections, No Deaths

 

Fully 80 new coronavirus infections were registered over the past 24 hours, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Wednesday, noting there were no deaths.

So far 5,658,623 people have received a first jab, while 5,497,599 have been fully vaccinated.

The number of active infections has declined to 18,824, while hospitals are treating 79 Covid patients, 15 of whom need respiratory assistance.

There are 1,233 people in official quarantine, while 6,407,283 tests have been officially carried out.

Since the first outbreak, 810,126 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 30,037.

 Fully 761,265 people have made a recovery.

So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.

Ezt a részt bátran egészítsd ki, ’fényezd magad egy kicsit.’
Itt lehetne megemlíteni a tulajdonos társad nevét, és akkor a két interjút össze lehetne kapcsolni. 

 

1. Hol nőttél fel?
Békés megyében, ott születtem és nőttem fel, töltöttem el 15 -20 évet a szakmában, ami meghatározó volt. Egy vadászházat, a Bélmegyeri vadászkastélyt vezette a család, ott dolgoztam velük.  

 

2. Ki volt a legjobb szakács a családodban?
Mint sokaknak, az Édesanyám és a nagymama,  na meg a vadászkastélyban a ‘főző’ asszonyok, a szakácsnőkkel dolgoztam, akik nagyon alaposak voltak, az igazi, jó értelemben vett házias konyhát vittünk, és ami nagyon megmaradt bennem, hogy pl egy vadas mártásnak a kóstolása 8 – 10 alkalom volt. A vadas az  pont ilyen édes, sós, savanyú ízek,  és nagyon meg kell találni az egyensúlyt, és ez a gondosság, alaposság megmaradt bennem.

 

3. Melyik volt a kedvence ételed gyerekkorodban?
A galamb ételek, mivel galambokat és más állatokat is tartottunk, nagy kertünk volt. A fiatal galambból főzött leves, új répával, új borsóval.

4. Mi volt az első recept, amit megtanultál?
Akkoriba, 30 évvel ezelőtt, a nemzetközi konyhát nem nagyon ismertük és nem volt hozzá alapanyag. De voltak receptek,  kis recept kártyák, és azokkal kísérleteztem. Voltak nyilván rosszul sikerült próbálkozásaim… Pl mivel nem lehetett akkoriban még pl friss gyömbért kapni, azt gyömbér porral kellett helyettesíteni, a mandarint a konzerv mandarinnal. A kísérletezés volt akkoriban a meghatározó.

 

5. Melyik a kedvenc ételed, amit most szeretsz főzni?
Lecsó – bográcsban.


6. Amikor étterembe mész, mit szoktál rendelni?
Legtöbbször a legegyszerűbb ételeket. Ha az éttermet is nézzük, akkor sokszor a legegyszerűbbet választom, de persze nagyon szeretem a gourmet éttermek hangulatát is, nagyon szívesen eszek egy menü sort is. nyilván igazából megvan minden helynek az erőssége, és az ember kipróbálja meg azokat az ételeket, amik ott népszerűek.  

 

7. Milyen gyakran „játszol az étellel”, a receptekkel?
Érdekes az a dolog, mert egyrészt az van, hogy volt egy olyan szlogen a konyhában, hogy nálunk csak egy dolog állandó, a változás. Tehát minden nap, csiszoljuk, finomítjuk a sok jó ételünket, de nem őrülünk bele, hogy mindig kitaláljunk valami újat. Állandóan kitalálni újat, hogy az tökéletes is legyen, azt nem lehet.

 

8. Melyik ismert Chef-et csodálod a legjobban és miért?
Ha a Chef-eket nézzük, akkor  az északi chefeket az innovatív gondolkodásuk miatt, az olaszokat az alapanyag tisztelete és a nagyon  intelligens alapanyag használat miatt csodálom / tisztelem.

 

9. Honnan jön a főzés iránti elkötelezettséged?
Nagyon korán kezdődött, azt láttam, hogy nagyon fontos volt az alapanyag, amiből sok mindent mi termeltünk meg. A családban fontosak volt  az étkezés,mindig együtt leültünk a nagyszüleimnél is harangszóra,  jót, jól és sokat főztek, és én is ott segíttettem, csak így alakulhatott ez így.

 

10. Mi volt eddig a legviccesebb konyhai ’mutatványod’ / eseted?
Sok ilyen dolog volt, főleg fiatal korunkban.
Ezt kiegészíted, kérlek?


11. Mi volt eddigi életed legszerencsésebb pillanata?
Amikor a gyermekeim megszülettek,az egy emlékezetes dolog. Az nem feltétlenül szerencse.  Nem feltétlenül, de az, hogy egészségesek, az valóban az.

12. Mi a sikered titka?
Csak csinálom, amit szeretek, és természetesé válik az egész és maga a folyamat, amiben vagyok, és a sikereknek a megélése is egyébként olyan természetes, aminek persze nagyon örülök, de ez volt a következménye annak, amit csinálok. A szorgalom, nagy valószínűség szerint egy kis tehetség is szorult belém, és a szakma szeretete vezetett el eddig.
 

13. Hogy tetszik az Esztergomi élet, Budapest után?
Nálam úgy van, hogy 6 – 7 évente egy éleset váltok. Békés megye, Kelet – Magyarországi vidékről, fel  a hegyekbe, utána Budapest belvárosa, most megint vidék, ez úgy teljessé teszi az életemet. Én szeretem ezt a változatosságot. A váltások közt pedig hónapokat töltök külföldön (tanulással?) Nagyon élvezem az itteni életet.

14. Mesélj a  legutóbbi elismerésről, kérlek.
Egy abszolút nem várt eredmény volt, bekerülni a Magyarországi vidéki éttermek TOP 3 legjobbja közé.  Szándékosan a Bistro nevet adtuk a helynek. Ez egy nagy siker ennek a fiatal csapatnak.

 

15. Hogyan kapcsolódsz ki?
Futok, úszok, biciklizek.

 

16. Ha nem lehetnél Chef, milyen más karriert tudnál elképzelni magadnak?
Sonka és kolbász készítés, szeretnék elmélyedni benne.

 

17. Ki / mi az ami ihletet ad?
Az íz-élményeink. Ha a szakmát nézem, akkor az íz élményeink.  

 

18.  Melyik szociális probléma foglalkoztat?
Ami minket is érint, nyilván, az a globális felmelegedés és a fenntarthatóság. Amit fenntarthatónak nevezünk, általában az sem fenntartható. Olyan, mintha magunknak hazudnánk és nem mernénk, nem akarjuk beismerni. Itt van pl az autó vagy akármi, vagy fenntartható gasztronómia. Hogy lehet fenntartható, amikor száz kilométerekről jut el valami oda / az étterembe?

Abban maradtunk, hogy ezt nem feltétlenül írjuk bele. (Most magam  ellen, a szakma ellen beszélek, de igazából már nem szükségletet elégítünk ki már régóta. )

 

19. Melyik a kedvenc borod?
Több van, szeretem a Köveskálról a  Pálfy Gyulát, Bot Frigyesnek a Kékfrankosát.

 

 

20.  Mi a személyes mottód, ha van?
A főzésre vonatkozik, igazából nem egy mottó, mint olyan - az egyszerű mindig bonyolult, de az egyszerű a legnehezebb. Ez lehet egy étel is, ha a vendég elé tesszük, az nagyon könnyen lesz banális / egyszerű, a hiba miatt, mivel nem úgy állnak hozzá, mert úgy-e egyszerű, és onnantól kezdve már nem ad abszolút élményt. Mert lehet, hogy az jobban elkészíti, aki előtt van  / letettük azt az ételt, és mitől lesz kiemelkedő egy egyszerű dolog, akár egy palacsinta?
Azt megtalálni, piszok izgalmas dolog. Hogy tudunk pl egy palacsintát is olyan szintre emelni, hogy az jobb legyen, mint amit az a személy készítené, aki fogyasztja. Izgalmas, hogy egy egyszerű dolgot jól készítsünk el.

Hungary Records 2 Coronavirus Fatalities, 106 New Infections

 

Two patients, generally elderly with co-morbidities, died over the past 24 hours, while 106 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Friday. 



So far 5,389,058 people have received a first jab, while 4,360,313 have been fully vaccinated. 



The number of active infections has declined to 42,851, while hospitals are treating  289 Covid patients, 43 of whom need respiratory assistance. 



There are 4,044 people in official quarantine, while 6,033,519 tests have been officially carried out. 



Since the first outbreak, 807,428 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 29,950. Fully 29,950 people have made a recovery.

Historic Toll Reductions on Highways Announced for 2026

For the first time since tolls were introduced on Hungarian expressways, the prices for motorway vignettes are being reduced. In 2026, motorists in five counties can look forward to significant discounts. The unprecedented price reduction is direct compensation for current traffic restrictions and construction work on the M1 and M30 highways, reported Origo.

 

Among others, the M30 highway is affected, with the section between Miskolc-North and Szikszó (northeastern Hungary) completely closed since February 2024, due to a road subsidence. To compensate for the ongoing repair work, the annual vignette for Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County will be offered in 2026, with a massive toll discount of 65 percent.

 

Drivers can purchase this annual vignette for 2,500 forints (6.55 euros). The authorization is valid not only for the M30, but also for the M3 motorway and all other toll roads within the county.

The Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county vignette entitles the holder to use the following sections:

 

M3 motorway: Between Füzesabony and Polgár

M30 motorway: Entire section between the M3 and the Tornyosnémeti border.

The extensive renovation and widening work on the M1 motorway between Budapest and Győr is also leading to a price reduction.

 

Residents of the four counties affected – Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, and Győr-Moson-Sopron – can purchase the M1 regional vignette for around half price, namely 15,000 forints (39.30 euros).

 

 

 

This discount will apply for the entire duration of the construction work and is expected to leave seven billion forints (18 million euros) in drivers’ pockets, a significant relief given the inconvenience caused by Hungary’s largest highway renovation project.

 

The M1 regional vignette offers extensive coverage of a total of 808 kilometers of expressway. It entitles the holder to use all toll roads in the four counties mentioned above.

 

In the e-vignette system, the validity of the county vignette is guaranteed beyond the administrative border of the county to the first exit of the neighboring county.

Detailed and up-to-date information on toll roads and discounts is available on the website of the National Toll Service Provider (Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató) under the menu item “Maps” (Térképek).

Ars Sacra Festival

The idea of Ars Sacra Festival was born after the ’City Mission’ was organized in Paris, Vienna, Lisbon, Brussels and in 2007 in Budapest as well. The purpose of the festival is to bring to light the Jewish-Christian roots of the European culture in all types of sacred arts and also to promote the uplifting and the spiritual unity of the souls. The Ars Sacra Festival provides you real and eternal values for 9 days each year in September for free. The Ars Sacra Festival has been certified by ’Europe for Festivals Festivals for Europe’ since 2016 and its logo a Hungarian design is protected. Several programs are available during the festival and can be visited for free of charge.
The Ars Sacra Festival is organized by hundreds of volunteers outside the Ars Sacra Foundation, joining the Ars Sacra Festival with programs of the same value.
Within the framework of the Ars Sacra Festival, the Open Church Day takes place on the first day of the festival. The Ars Sacra Film Festival has been part of the festival program since 2016.

This challenging course is designed for adults who want to develop core performance and acting skills and take part in plays on stage.

Hungary Records 80 New Coronavirus Infections, No Deaths

 

Fully 80 new coronavirus infections were registered over the past 24 hours, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Wednesday, noting there were no deaths.

So far 5,658,623 people have received a first jab, while 5,497,599 have been fully vaccinated.

The number of active infections has declined to 18,824, while hospitals are treating 79 Covid patients, 15 of whom need respiratory assistance.

There are 1,233 people in official quarantine, while 6,407,283 tests have been officially carried out.

Since the first outbreak, 810,126 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 30,037.

 Fully 761,265 people have made a recovery.

So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.

Ezt a részt bátran egészítsd ki, ’fényezd magad egy kicsit.’
Itt lehetne megemlíteni a tulajdonos társad nevét, és akkor a két interjút össze lehetne kapcsolni. 

 

1. Hol nőttél fel?
Békés megyében, ott születtem és nőttem fel, töltöttem el 15 -20 évet a szakmában, ami meghatározó volt. Egy vadászházat, a Bélmegyeri vadászkastélyt vezette a család, ott dolgoztam velük.  

 

2. Ki volt a legjobb szakács a családodban?
Mint sokaknak, az Édesanyám és a nagymama,  na meg a vadászkastélyban a ‘főző’ asszonyok, a szakácsnőkkel dolgoztam, akik nagyon alaposak voltak, az igazi, jó értelemben vett házias konyhát vittünk, és ami nagyon megmaradt bennem, hogy pl egy vadas mártásnak a kóstolása 8 – 10 alkalom volt. A vadas az  pont ilyen édes, sós, savanyú ízek,  és nagyon meg kell találni az egyensúlyt, és ez a gondosság, alaposság megmaradt bennem.

 

3. Melyik volt a kedvence ételed gyerekkorodban?
A galamb ételek, mivel galambokat és más állatokat is tartottunk, nagy kertünk volt. A fiatal galambból főzött leves, új répával, új borsóval.

4. Mi volt az első recept, amit megtanultál?
Akkoriba, 30 évvel ezelőtt, a nemzetközi konyhát nem nagyon ismertük és nem volt hozzá alapanyag. De voltak receptek,  kis recept kártyák, és azokkal kísérleteztem. Voltak nyilván rosszul sikerült próbálkozásaim… Pl mivel nem lehetett akkoriban még pl friss gyömbért kapni, azt gyömbér porral kellett helyettesíteni, a mandarint a konzerv mandarinnal. A kísérletezés volt akkoriban a meghatározó.

 

5. Melyik a kedvenc ételed, amit most szeretsz főzni?
Lecsó – bográcsban.


6. Amikor étterembe mész, mit szoktál rendelni?
Legtöbbször a legegyszerűbb ételeket. Ha az éttermet is nézzük, akkor sokszor a legegyszerűbbet választom, de persze nagyon szeretem a gourmet éttermek hangulatát is, nagyon szívesen eszek egy menü sort is. nyilván igazából megvan minden helynek az erőssége, és az ember kipróbálja meg azokat az ételeket, amik ott népszerűek.  

 

7. Milyen gyakran „játszol az étellel”, a receptekkel?
Érdekes az a dolog, mert egyrészt az van, hogy volt egy olyan szlogen a konyhában, hogy nálunk csak egy dolog állandó, a változás. Tehát minden nap, csiszoljuk, finomítjuk a sok jó ételünket, de nem őrülünk bele, hogy mindig kitaláljunk valami újat. Állandóan kitalálni újat, hogy az tökéletes is legyen, azt nem lehet.

 

8. Melyik ismert Chef-et csodálod a legjobban és miért?
Ha a Chef-eket nézzük, akkor  az északi chefeket az innovatív gondolkodásuk miatt, az olaszokat az alapanyag tisztelete és a nagyon  intelligens alapanyag használat miatt csodálom / tisztelem.

 

9. Honnan jön a főzés iránti elkötelezettséged?
Nagyon korán kezdődött, azt láttam, hogy nagyon fontos volt az alapanyag, amiből sok mindent mi termeltünk meg. A családban fontosak volt  az étkezés,mindig együtt leültünk a nagyszüleimnél is harangszóra,  jót, jól és sokat főztek, és én is ott segíttettem, csak így alakulhatott ez így.

 

10. Mi volt eddig a legviccesebb konyhai ’mutatványod’ / eseted?
Sok ilyen dolog volt, főleg fiatal korunkban.
Ezt kiegészíted, kérlek?


11. Mi volt eddigi életed legszerencsésebb pillanata?
Amikor a gyermekeim megszülettek,az egy emlékezetes dolog. Az nem feltétlenül szerencse.  Nem feltétlenül, de az, hogy egészségesek, az valóban az.

12. Mi a sikered titka?
Csak csinálom, amit szeretek, és természetesé válik az egész és maga a folyamat, amiben vagyok, és a sikereknek a megélése is egyébként olyan természetes, aminek persze nagyon örülök, de ez volt a következménye annak, amit csinálok. A szorgalom, nagy valószínűség szerint egy kis tehetség is szorult belém, és a szakma szeretete vezetett el eddig.
 

13. Hogy tetszik az Esztergomi élet, Budapest után?
Nálam úgy van, hogy 6 – 7 évente egy éleset váltok. Békés megye, Kelet – Magyarországi vidékről, fel  a hegyekbe, utána Budapest belvárosa, most megint vidék, ez úgy teljessé teszi az életemet. Én szeretem ezt a változatosságot. A váltások közt pedig hónapokat töltök külföldön (tanulással?) Nagyon élvezem az itteni életet.

14. Mesélj a  legutóbbi elismerésről, kérlek.
Egy abszolút nem várt eredmény volt, bekerülni a Magyarországi vidéki éttermek TOP 3 legjobbja közé.  Szándékosan a Bistro nevet adtuk a helynek. Ez egy nagy siker ennek a fiatal csapatnak.

 

15. Hogyan kapcsolódsz ki?
Futok, úszok, biciklizek.

 

16. Ha nem lehetnél Chef, milyen más karriert tudnál elképzelni magadnak?
Sonka és kolbász készítés, szeretnék elmélyedni benne.

 

17. Ki / mi az ami ihletet ad?
Az íz-élményeink. Ha a szakmát nézem, akkor az íz élményeink.  

 

18.  Melyik szociális probléma foglalkoztat?
Ami minket is érint, nyilván, az a globális felmelegedés és a fenntarthatóság. Amit fenntarthatónak nevezünk, általában az sem fenntartható. Olyan, mintha magunknak hazudnánk és nem mernénk, nem akarjuk beismerni. Itt van pl az autó vagy akármi, vagy fenntartható gasztronómia. Hogy lehet fenntartható, amikor száz kilométerekről jut el valami oda / az étterembe?

Abban maradtunk, hogy ezt nem feltétlenül írjuk bele. (Most magam  ellen, a szakma ellen beszélek, de igazából már nem szükségletet elégítünk ki már régóta. )

 

19. Melyik a kedvenc borod?
Több van, szeretem a Köveskálról a  Pálfy Gyulát, Bot Frigyesnek a Kékfrankosát.

 

 

20.  Mi a személyes mottód, ha van?
A főzésre vonatkozik, igazából nem egy mottó, mint olyan - az egyszerű mindig bonyolult, de az egyszerű a legnehezebb. Ez lehet egy étel is, ha a vendég elé tesszük, az nagyon könnyen lesz banális / egyszerű, a hiba miatt, mivel nem úgy állnak hozzá, mert úgy-e egyszerű, és onnantól kezdve már nem ad abszolút élményt. Mert lehet, hogy az jobban elkészíti, aki előtt van  / letettük azt az ételt, és mitől lesz kiemelkedő egy egyszerű dolog, akár egy palacsinta?
Azt megtalálni, piszok izgalmas dolog. Hogy tudunk pl egy palacsintát is olyan szintre emelni, hogy az jobb legyen, mint amit az a személy készítené, aki fogyasztja. Izgalmas, hogy egy egyszerű dolgot jól készítsünk el.

Hungary Records 2 Coronavirus Fatalities, 106 New Infections

 

Two patients, generally elderly with co-morbidities, died over the past 24 hours, while 106 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Friday. 



So far 5,389,058 people have received a first jab, while 4,360,313 have been fully vaccinated. 



The number of active infections has declined to 42,851, while hospitals are treating  289 Covid patients, 43 of whom need respiratory assistance. 



There are 4,044 people in official quarantine, while 6,033,519 tests have been officially carried out. 



Since the first outbreak, 807,428 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 29,950. Fully 29,950 people have made a recovery.
