Hungarian Govt To Limit Executive Bonuses At State - Owned Companies
- 12 Dec 2013 8:00 AM
Tabloid Blikk wrote on Monday that several public-sector executives received premiums nine to ten times their monthly salaries. Top of the list was László Baranyay, head of the state-owned National Development Bank, with a bonus of 19.2 million forints (EUR 63,000).
The opposition Socialists and radical nationalist Jobbik parties criticised the high bonuses in separate statements and asked the government to “get them back”.
