Hungary's Secret Services Access Vodafone Data
Hungarian authorities requested and received data from Vodafone regarding who called whom and when, who is associated with what subscription, as well as internet-browsing data in the year to March 31, the UK-owned mobile phone operator revealed in a report issued on the subject.

Hungary is one of five countries in which the secret services can have direct and continued access to the Vodafone system, without the knowledge of any client. The others are Albania, Egypt, Ireland and Qatar.
