It is a “super fruit” because its anti-oxidant and melatonin content is well above average. This new type of sour cherry is being put on the market after decades of research, CEO of the institute Zoltán Kasztovszky said.

The fruit can be also used by the cosmetics industry due to its high melatonin content, he added.
