New Record For Hottest May Morning
An almost steaming hot record 19.6° C was measured in southwest Budapest early on Saturday, certainly the highest temperature ever in the city on May 5, the national weather service has reported.

This Budapest record didn't quite break the national one of 19.7° C, measured in western Hungary’s Sopron in 1969.
