Easter Holiday Opening Hours In Hungary
Shops, markets, post offices and banks will be closed on Good Friday, 19 April, Easter Sunday, 21 April and Monday 22 April.

On Holy Saturday  20 April larger food stores and supermarkets  will be open till 20.00 or 22.00.

Banks, post offices and other shops remain closed during the holiday (from Friday 19 April till Tuesday 23 April).

Public Transport - services will run as follows:

Thursday 18  April – according to Friday schedule in school holiday
Good Friday 19 April– Sunday/public holiday schedule
Saturday 20 April  – normal Saturday schedule
Sunday 21 April & Monday 22 April - Sunday/public holiday schedule

Budapest markets opening hours:

Hall and Market Management informs customers that the opening hours of the markets operated by them will be the following around Easter: on Good Friday (19 April), Easter Sunday and Easter Monday (21-22 April) all market halls will be closed except for the Fehérvári út Market Hall.
