A new general meeting to elect new members has been convened for June 20.

“The members of the presidency of the Hungarian Olympic Committee made a joint decision to resign, because in the current circumstances this seemed to be the most obvious choice,” said communications chief András Szabó.

He said they wanted the next presidency to have as much time as possible to prepare for the 2021 Olympics.
