Covid Update 115981 Active Cases 115 New Deaths In Hungary
2,696 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 468,713. The number of deaths stands at 15,988 while the number of those recovered now stands at 336,744.

115,981 is the number of active infected, 7,924 patients are hospitalized, 806 of them are on ventilators. 

Vaccination is ongoing, and by this morning, one million people in Hungary have been vaccinated. We are in the ascending branch of the third wave of the epidemic, with an increasing number of active infected and hospitalized patients, which is why the government has decided to tighten the restrictions that will come into force today.
