Hungary To Spend HUF 140 Billion On Road Construction
The government has decided to allocate 140 billion forints (EUR 364.1m) towards road developments, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said on Facebook on Saturday.

Varga said that 220 connecting roads will be reconstructed across the country from these funds, improving the accessibility of rural settlements, making transport safer and strengthening the local economy.

Varga said that dual carriageways will also be expanded; the length of Hungary’s expressways has been increased from 1,300 to 1,900kms since 2010.
