Record Black Friday Sales at eMAG in Hungary

Online electronics retailer eMAG registered record sales at its Black Friday event that ended at 2 a.m. on Saturday, Portfolio reports.

More than 166,000 customers placed orders for more than 375,000 products with a total value of Ft 10.5 billion.

Roughly 30% of the Black Friday sales came from eMAG merchant partners participating in the campaign.

The average value of consumers’ basket was Ft 74,971, with the highest value registered in Hajdú-Bihar county (Ft 88,284) and Pest county (Ft 79,481).

Besides electronics products and household appliances, dishwasher capsules and food and beverage products were the best-selling items.
