‘National Restaurant Week’ in Hungary, 9 – 19 March

You're invited to enjoy exclusive dining at amazing prices, say the organisers. In many top restaurants in Budapest, and in the countryside, you can find a special 3-course menu available for a fixed price.

Of great interest with many expat foodie is the fact that during this period restaurants with a Michelin recommendation or a Michelin Bib Gourmand award are offering 4 or 5-course degustation menus for never-before-seen prices. These menues are not available at other times of the year.

Some of the other restaurants involved are offering their menus for only HUF 5,900 (appr. €15) and others offer premium menus for HUF 7,900 (appr. €20) and exclusive menus for HUF 9,900 (appr. €25).

Also good to know is that the service charge is always included in the menu price.

Restaurants who serve premium or exclusive menus are marked a red "DiningCity Star" icon -> you can find this icon on the restaurant-list page of the Restaurant Week website. Bookings for the Restaurant Week can only be made via www.etteremhet.hu. 

Reservations for the DiningCity Restaurant Week take place in real time online. This means no long phone calls or waiting for confirmation. You can see if a restaurant has seats available at a glance and the written confirmation follows by E-Mail immediately after the reservation.

Plus you'll be glad to know if needed it is possible to a change an existing reservation, so no need to first delete and make a new reservation.
