Latest Retail Sales Figures Down Again in Hungary
Retail sales in Hungary dropped by an annual 6.5% in October, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said. When adjusted for calendar year effects, the fall remained 6.5%.

Adjusted food sales fell by 1.9%, non-food sales dropped by 5.1% and vehicle fuel sales were down 21.1%.

Month on month, retail sales edged down by an adjusted 0.3%. Between January and October, retail volume fell by an adjusted 9% compared with the same period last year.
