Become a Volunteer at the UEFA Champions League Final 2026 in Budapest
In 2026, Budapest will once again host one of the world’s biggest sporting events as the UEFA Champions League Final comes to the Hungarian capital. Organisers are now inviting applications from those who would like to be part of the volunteer team behind this prestigious football showcase.

More than 500 volunteers will play a key role in delivering the final, supporting operations across over 30 areas including spectator services, accreditation and media. Volunteers are an essential part of every major international sporting event, helping ensure everything runs smoothly on matchday.

Volunteering offers a unique opportunity to experience the excitement of a major football final from behind the scenes.

Participants can:

* Gain valuable experience and develop new skills
* Meet people from Hungary and around the world

Who Can Apply?

Anyone aged 18 or over is eligible to apply. Previous experience is not required, although certain roles may call for specific skills. Applicants simply need to complete the official application form and outline their motivation for joining the team.

What Volunteers Receive

Selected volunteers will be provided with:


​​​​​​​* A full official volunteer uniform (t-shirt, jumper, cap and backpack)
​​​​​​​* Meals and refreshments during shifts
​​​​​​​* Role-specific and general training
​​​​​​​* Ongoing support from the Volunteer Management team
​​​​​​​* A post-event thank-you celebration and commemorative gifts
​​​​​​​* An official certificate recognising their contribution
