"As one of the most modern automotive test centres in Europe and the world, ZalaZONE enables the development and testing of technologies that will determine the future of transport, from self-driving vehicles through electromobility to smart transport systems," the minister said.

With its infrastructure modelling a real transport environment, 5G-based communication network and unique testing capabilities, it is an attractive development location for international companies, research institutes and universities, he said.

"In the coming years, we will strive to ensure that innovations created here can enter the economic and social circulation as soon as possible. Instead of assembly plants, we need high-added-value services, R+D and manufacturing," Zoltan Tanacs said in the post.
