The Budapest Museum of Fine Arts and the Hungarian National Gallery opened an exhibition of 25 international masterpieces from their collections on large outdoor digital displays in the centre of Madrid on Thursday. The exhibition dubbed “Art on the Street from Budapest”, featuring works by the likes of El Greco, Leonardo, Raphael and Munkácsy, will be on show near the Prado Museum until August 9.

The 2014 MasterCard Balaton Sound attracted a total of 145 000 fans during 4 days and 5 nights. Almost 50% of the guests came from abroad and the festival passes were sold out months before the start of the event. The live stream of the festival reached hundreds of thousands of viewers, thanks to the cooperation with Ustream and Telekom.

A record number of visitors have attended this time: during 5 days 120.000 guests have arrived to Lővér Camping and thanks to the live stream of Telekom and Ustream more than 500.000 people viewed the festival from outside the festival area.
